A definite answered prayer. Love this story! Reminds me so much of my story with Grayson (except he came much faster and only 45 minutes after I got to the hospital!). Soooooo happy she's here and such a good baby for you and John! Congratulations, Missy!!!! Such a blessing and I'm so happy for you!!!! xoxoJamiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11651793857280121613noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9078817557376737313.post-91438959448348144362011-08-31T09:53:26.225-05:002011-08-31T09:53:26.225-05:00PS...She does look like her daddy quite a bit but ...PS...She does look like her daddy quite a bit but looks a LOT like you in the second to last picture you posted. ;o)Coastiemama4https://www.blogger.com/profile/15147721690161872505noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9078817557376737313.post-87069922549127997942011-08-31T09:51:32.407-05:002011-08-31T09:51:32.407-05:00There's nothing in the world like making a sis...There's nothing in the world like making a sister friendship in elementary school and reading this blog today and bawling tears of joy for you!! I could relate to the feeling of failure when you asked for an epidural. (Mine didn't take so I also was blessed with natural deliveries) and the fear of being told I would need a "C" if I didn't push the baby out. I also told Jay to shut up and profusely apologized in between contractions and was told to feel my baby's head and said "no!" and pushed harder cause I just wanted the pain to stop and see my baby! AND last but not least, my last baby, Luke was 8lbs 6oz which made a HUGE difference in the time it took to push compared to my other two! lol GOD IS GREAT! Dahlia is just beautiful! Thank you for sharing your beautiful experience! I loved hearing about it and look forward to cheering you on your newest and future adventures in motherhood! Congratulations Missy!,
Love LeahCoastiemama4https://www.blogger.com/profile/15147721690161872505noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9078817557376737313.post-46027151950670817612011-08-31T08:01:06.331-05:002011-08-31T08:01:06.331-05:00love love love this story, you are a trooper!love love love this story, you are a trooper!just_me_tiffhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06824338659055909592noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9078817557376737313.post-55578115100828334672011-08-31T06:40:59.631-05:002011-08-31T06:40:59.631-05:00I'm bawling. LOL.

The Lord has indeed given you the desires of your heart. This is a verse I've used often when I think of Carter, in a different version it says "For this child I have prayed, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of him......Blessed be the name of the Lord." He is so good to us, HIS people. He is SO good to us to take care of the AMAZING miracle that pregnancy and childbirth is. He has surely put his hand of protection around Dahlia.

She is the luckiest to have you and John as parents. May her days be sweet, and may you continue to fall in love with every minute of her life. I am just so happy for you and looking forward to the day I get to meet sweet Dahlia.

And girl...just so you know...I am WAY proud of you. Having two C-sections, I don't understand, but your birth story sounds like one I would have wanted (yes, pushing and all...). I'm so glad that God gave you the inner desires of your heart.

I couldn't be happier for you and your family.

All my love.Corinne Taylor Montiethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03229936350307212889noreply@blogger.com
